GENERAL PRINCIPLES
These User Rules must always be read in conjunction with our Terms, which will, at all times, govern your use of our Platforms and/or Services.
We require that all Content and any activities taking place on our Platforms and/or Services adhere to our Terms, and, in particular, to these User Rules.
We do not conduct pre-screening or continuous monitoring of user-generated Content; however, we retain the right to remove any Content that is not in alignment with our User Rules.
You may be held legally accountable for any Content you post or upload to our Platforms or Services, or through the use of our Communication Facilities.
Unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, any term defined in our Terms, when used within these User Rules, will carry the identical meaning assigned to it in our Terms.

Abusive Content
refers to any Content we deem to be defamatory, discriminatory, obscene, lewd, offensive, threatening, abusive, harassing, harmful, hateful, constituting hate speech, or containing child pornography, explicit or violent pornography; Content that could be harmful to minors; any religious or racial slurs; or that threatens or promotes bodily harm or similar actions, or which may infringe upon any individual's rights, regardless of whether such Content is accessed, transmitted, propagated, distributed, created, or stored in either a public or private context.
Communication Facilities
includes, but is not limited to, our email systems, instant messaging, data messaging, SMS, chat rooms, discussion boards, albums, communities, classifieds, and other similar facilities or technologies intended for real-time or other forms of communication between persons, whether or not those individuals are REVO subscribers.
Destructive Code
means any computer code that:
- Is intended to disrupt, disable, harm, or otherwise hinder in any way the functioning of any software, hardware, or network (commonly known as 'viruses,' 'Trojan horses,' or 'worms');
- Would disable any software, hardware, or network, or impair its functioning in any way due to the expiration of a time period, exceeding an authorised number of copies, reaching a particular date, or other numerical conditions (commonly referred to as 'time bombs,' 'time locks,' or 'drop dead' code);
- Would permit any person to gain access to another person's software, hardware, or network without consent (commonly referred to as 'trap,' 'access code,' 'back door,' or 'trap door' codes);
- Any other comparable harmful, malicious, or concealed procedures, routines, or mechanisms that would cause software, hardware, or networks to stop functioning, or that would damage or corrupt data, storage media, programmes, equipment, or communications, or otherwise disrupt operations.
Misrepresentation
includes, without limitation:
- Engaging in actions intended to deceive, mislead, defraud, or otherwise misrepresent any fact or circumstance to any individual;
- Impersonating, attempting to impersonate, or otherwise misrepresenting your identity to any individual for any purpose;
- Modifying the content of communications you receive and subsequently forwarding them to others without clearly indicating the nature of the modifications;
- Forging or otherwise manipulating the origination details and data of any electronic data message created using our Communication Facilities, with the intention of concealing or deleting the source of anything posted or transmitted via our Communication Facilities. This includes, without limitation, the use of 'Socks Proxies,' 'EZBounce,' 'Vhosts,' 'BNC's,' or any other software or hardware methods used to conceal or misrepresent your IP address.
Spam or Spamming
includes, without limitation:
- Posting or cross-posting unsolicited communications using our Communication Facilities;
- Imitating or impersonating another person or their email address, or creating false accounts for the purpose of sending spam;
- Sending unauthorised email via open, third-party servers;
- Sending emails to users who have requested removal from a mailing list;
- Selling or exchanging any person's email address without their consent.
System Abuse
means any conduct that does, or has the potential to:
- Damage, impair, overburden, or disable any system belonging to any person (including us) when using our Platforms or Services;
- Interfere with another person's use of the Internet or our Platforms or Services;
- Compromise or tamper with the security of our, or any other person's, software, hardware, systems, networks, Platforms, or Services. This includes, but is not limited to, activities such as Spamming, mass messaging, using software or technologies known as 'floodbots,' 'clonebots,' 'automated client,' as well as engaging in nuking or using nuking tools.
GENERAL RULES
By using our Platforms or Services, you agree that you will not:
- Engage in any action that violates our Terms.
- Send Spam through our Communication Facilities.
- Engage in any form of Misrepresentation.
- Post, upload, or transmit any Abusive Content.
- Replicate or store Abusive Content on any of our Platforms or Services.
- Act in a manner contrary to generally accepted Internet etiquette, including excessive use of capitalised text, inflammatory or antagonistic criticism ('flaming'), or unnecessary inclusion of previous communications in postings.
- Commit fraud.
- Infringe or violate intellectual property rights, contractual or fiduciary rights, or privacy/publicity rights of others.
- Engage in System Abuse.
- Spread, distribute, or transmit Destructive Code.
- Repeatedly post off-topic communications.
- Read or act upon communications not intended for you or fail to delete them.
- Gather personal/commercial information without consent.
- Reproduce, copy, alter, modify, create derivative works from, or sell our Content or Services or related data.
- Use automated or manual devices to monitor or copy Content from our Platforms.
- Use our Platforms or Services for unapproved commercial purposes.
- Harass recipients by repeatedly or rapidly transmitting Content.
- Transmit Content without ownership or rights to distribute.
- Access Platforms/Services or networks without authorisation.
- Promote or engage in illegal activities.
- Fail to comply with applicable laws.
- Disrupt real-time communication.
- Assist third parties in performing any prohibited actions.
- Use our Platforms or Services in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair any server, or the network(s) connected to any server.
- Use any device, software, or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of our Platforms or Services.
- Take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure.
- Use our Platforms or Services to violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
- Use our Platforms or Services to transmit any material that is defamatory, offensive, or otherwise objectionable.
- Use our Platforms or Services to transmit any material that infringes the rights of others.
- Use our Platforms or Services to transmit any material that contains viruses or other harmful code.
- Use our Platforms or Services to transmit any unsolicited advertising or promotional materials.
- Use our Platforms or Services to impersonate any person or entity.
- Use our Platforms or Services to collect or store personal data about other users without their consent.
- Use our Platforms or Services to stalk or harass other users.
- Use our Platforms or Services for any other purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these User Rules.
BLOG, CHAT, AND SIMILAR SERVICES
We provide Services allowing you to chat or post content in blogs, chat rooms, discussion boards, communities, and forums.
- You may not use these for advertising or marketing.
- All content entered is public and non-confidential.
- Sharing personal info means others may contact you.
- We do not generally monitor these services and do not endorse content.
- Use it at your own risk, and you indemnify us against related liabilities.
- We reserve the right to monitor or moderate and, if necessary, remove content or suspend use without notice.
PHOTO AND VIDEO ALBUM SERVICE
We may offer services for uploading, storing, viewing, and sharing photo/video files.
- Unless you choose otherwise, albums are public.
- We do not guarantee IP rights in photos/albums.
- We may impose storage limits.
REPORTING PROCEDURE
If you are aware of a breach or wish to flag objectionable content or wish to report content/comment/user, notify us by email at:

Provide a description and location of the breach. We will endeavour to take action within a 24 hour period or as we deem appropriate.
ENFORCEMENT OF USER RULES
If we believe you are in breach, we may in our sole discretion:
- Remove inappropriate content without notice.
- Issue a warning.
- Suspend or terminate services without notice.
- Comply with legal obligations.
